Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - Turbo g8 or m5

Im looking into buying something nice that i can take long rides in and not hate driving, I have narrowed it down to 06 m5 or a 08 g8 gt turbo. Both cars are very clean and have low miles, asking price is also about the same on both. :engarde: I just dont want to spend 30k and not be happy down the road, and would like your opinion. Thanks in advance..

A turbo G8 would probably be a whole lot more fun, IMO. I'm always wary of turbo setups though, but if it's all good, I'd say, go for it!

It all depends on if the turbo was a hackjob or if it's done correctly and tuned accordingly.

Good luck turbocharging a G8, if you have ideas please share and G8 and M5 are totally different price ranges for lowish mileage...

Friend's mother was without her 535xi for almost a month due to a door module screwing up rest of car. repair bill??? $3500. before that (only a few months ago) another $3000 repair bill for suspension. Only two ways to own a BMW/Benz/Porsche/Audi. Lease or if you a technician. other than that once your warranty runs out you're done. Hope that helps. I love the Germans sucks their superior technology comes at such a price.
