General LSX Automobile Discussion - 2002 trans am paint color

ok so lets begin with when this happened, ten years ago, my brother bought a new 02 trans am, stick and every option. then he drove it a few months and then well he crashed it by jfk airport in ny. he never really talks about it but he flipped it i believe 8 times. took out 3 trailers 2 cars and a truck. all he has left is a license plate cover from it and that is nearly destroyed. i just want to know what the color was since i want to paint my 1970 gto that color it was a two tone blueish purple color that changed in the sun it was a stock color but i cant find it online any help would be great. and im sorry to that poor trans am :( atleast he has a new well he bought it new 02 trans am collector edition

Navy blue metallic? Or Mystic blue metallic? Only ones even close to that really

Navy Blue Metallic, as mentioned above. Only color like that for '02. RPO for the color is 28U. I do not have the mix code, but using that RPO and the correct name should net you the WA number with some searching.

When looking for the mix number for mystic teal I just searched the rpo on Google. It came up.

Most paint shops can pull it with just the rpo.
