1967 Suburban/Tahoe Interior build
We just got this truck in our shop on monday and we have 2 weeks to do the interior for the show its going to (Heatwave). 2 weeks is easy on TV but not so much in reality hah.
Info on the truck;
1967 Suburban
-Body work done by Alamo custom & collision in Alvin, TX
-Shortened into a Tahoe
-Roof Chopped
-Roof section from a newer Nissan Quest
-Bagged and body dropped
-5.3L
I don't have any good overall pictures of the truck but I'll try and take some tomorrow.
Mounted the modified dash from a 62 Impala. Mounted the Vintage air box. Started running wires.
Mounted the PCM
Converted all of the glass to 1 piece electric windows.
Made custom glass for the chop top. Putting on the black border.
Started trimming the trunk.
I should have almost daily updates on this up until heatwave.

Theres a lot of projects that are midway so not to much to show today.
Got the glass in the roof.
Made the floor of the trunk
And I guess i should mention that I usually take pictures with a mild fish eye lens so everything looks a little distorted, especially straight lines.

Rear quarter glass is in. Trunk is in with the gas cap molded in.
Step notch getting trimmed.
Kick panels are in and ready to cover. Steering column is mocked up and under dash is getting built.
We've foamed and stitched out the front seats ill get pictures once they are together. The cluster and dash needs to be finished by sunday so it can go to the body shop monday.

Windshield is in! This was a pain because the windshield had a deep curve and it took a lot of test cutting and fitting to get right.
Underdash and kicks covered
More of the trunk.
The customer came in and put on the accessories.

Body shop came by and put the doors on
This is the body before sanding and buffing
This is the door after
Intake, headers and brake booster on
Brakes are on, wheels fitted
Jute is on ready for carpet tomorrow
Hatch, tailgate and bumper are on
We also finished covering the kicks, spent more time on the cluster, mounted the seats, put more door glass in, got the dash to the body shop and finished the trunk.
And got a new shop toy

Laid the carpet out and finished the kick panels. Ill get a better picture of the carpet over in the morning. The plexiglass peice sticking out will mount behind the dash and be lit with LEDs.
Front clip is on and front wheels are mounted
