Cadillac CTS-V - Drifting. Wheel hop and diff questions ?

Contemplating signing up for a local practice drift event. Compared to a night at the dragstrip, this seems like less stress on the diff. Does wheel hop occur in a drift? Not planning on doing clutch kicks etc, just power overs with all seasons. What do you guys think?

If done correctly, it should be. Also, when you're going sideways the wheelhop doesn't occur.

Should be fine drifting....my stock setup never hopped when I did it

Should be fine. I had no issues doing this. Only hops from hard launch in straight line.

Lol, no kidding. I wish our lugpattern was more popular so I could pick up another cheap set of wheels. :(

Ah-h drifting...
Brings back memories of Dado
And when the season was over the dealer pulled off the vinyl wrap and sold the V as a 'used' car.
