searching for my old Firehawk
so I havent been on this forum in a while. Several years ago I had a 2002 SOM A4 Firehawk I traded in to keep from loosing it to the ex wife in a divorce. Its probably still in my sig. Its a unique car in that it has a salvage title. I dont care, I got attached to it when I had it and would like to track it down if it even still exists. It was #1251, SOM A4 with black interior (originally toupe) and it had tons of suspension and brake upgrades. I dont need to hear "why would you want a salvaged car back?" I have my reasons. Any help would be great.

Looked through his old topics and found pictures of the Hawk, posting them here for you Scroll past the pictures for some suggestions...
According to Firehawk.org, yours is here alive and owned by Dan Rogers in Long Beach, MS, try looking him up on Facebook or Yellow Pages. The site gives his e-mail away but they cut off the end for security I guess, you can e-mail him here, http://www.firehawkowners.com/email/1744.html
http://www.firehawkowners.com/car/1758.html
Even if you do find the car and the owner, the guy might want to sell it back to you.... it looks like he's pretty serious if he has all these pictures up on Firehawk.org
EDIT: I just read Alexus post below.... if this was before you owned the car then....
Post the car on Ebay if you still have the VIN Number, you will get a free Car Fax report and they only charge you eBay fees if your car sells, so list it for like 10 million.
If you sold it to a dealer, call and see if they can help you track it down.
If you still have the VIN, try visiting your DMV and asking about tracking an old car down.

yeah Dan Rogers was the original owner. I met him when I bought the car. I actually just got a job at the dealership that I traded it in at 4 years ago. After I get to know some people here Im gonna try to run a vin check and figure out who bought it.

I THINK I FOUND IT!!! I found my car. It belongs...or did belong to... the brother of a guy on this forum. The thread on here is 5 years old, but its a start. I pm'd him in hopes of getting a lead. This is super important to me. I think only you guys can understand this kind of attachment to a car.

I did hear from his brother. He said he was considering selling it to buy a jeep. When, or if, he contacts me, Ill see if I can set up a time when we can meet up so I can see how time has treated it. I believe we work for the same company.

Good Luck, my first real car is my current Firehawk. If i ever had to sell it for any reason I know I would do anything to get it back. Even if it was a crushed metal ball. A lot of memories and good times in my Firehawk.

I just read your story! Good luck. I hope you get it back! It's too bad you had to ditch it to keep your ex from getting it. My wife and her mother tried to get me to sell mine before we got married. I should have took that as a bad sign and walked away but I was young and stupid, but not stupid enough to sell my hawk.
