Drag Racing Tech - Cage Question???

I am putting a 6 point chro-moly cage in my car in the next week or so.
I cant find info on what to use for the plates on the floor??
What does it have to be? chro-moly, mild steel, thickness, size, how much weld etc.. Thanks in advance.

6x6 plates 1/8" minimum thickness and mild steel is fine. I am not 100% but I think they need to be welded at least 80% of the way around
