Have you tried lowering the shift RPM's to see what it likes ?

What are your trap rpm's ?

Well your already outta gear at the mph your at... try 6800rpm shifts and go from there. and put a 4.10 out back or get some 28" tall tires.

I would try lowering the shifts first....the Tq/Hp should pull those gears just fine.

well when its nosing over at 7200 or so, and it needs 7600 or however much it needs to go 120+, Its OUT OF gear.... its not gonna run like he wants if its out of gear.

Way too many RPM. There is no reason to turn that motor that high. Put it on the dyno, Ill bet it plays out 6150-6300 so all you are doing by turning it 7100 is slowing the car down and giving your best effort to spread parts.

Ok I'm gonna try to shift it lower but my thought is it is my single plane. Flows to much for stock heads?
