Fueling & Injection - sending unit access panel

Does anyone know of a panel that you can buy to put in place once you cut the floor to change out the fuel pump or is it best to cut one from a donor car?

Reuse the piece you cut out. Go go to a Big box store they have metal in 2 or 3 ft lengths. Purchase 1 inch wide strip of metal fabricate strips, attach with screws. Be careful when drilling do not drill into the gas tank use short screws do not screw into tank.

This is what I'm wondering also as my fiance's car is having fuel issues and I'm trying to get everything in order just incase I have to swap fuel pumps.
