Carbureted LSX forum - Throttle cable for a four barrel throttle body?

Not sure if anyone in here can help but.

I just converted to a top mount 4 barrel throttle body on my 2002 ws6. I was wondering what cable are people who have done this using? Thank you.

If i remember correct, i used a 87-92 TBI cable off of a third gen, it works fine but i had to be a little creative making it go through the firewall by shaving the size down. The stock cable was smaller, but it worked fine with a carb and might be what you are looking for.

I'm using the stock cable. Hood latch has a nice cable holder if you can drill through the case hardened steel. If I knew I was gonna spend $10 on drill bits I may have gone another route. Only thing left is the throttle cable bracket to keep it in place and have full throttle travel.
