I missed that one. I would have liked to see a 5th gen go low and wide, but that one looks too Japanese for my taste.

Looks like a Mazda with some Grand Am features. Not nearly as aggressive or muscular as a Trans Am should be.

Wow! I really did not thought it would get so many thumbs down. I liked it due to the fact that it seems like its based off the new camaro, which would've made it possible back then... Not anymore with Pontiac being dead..... I like it all except for the hood, it does need some sort of a dual inlet ram air scoops and rear end needs some work to resemble its heritage. I sure missed that concept thats for sure......

The front is just... no. No.

you guys are way too close minded. Completely opvious that if it were to actually to go into production that it wouldn't look anything like that. A million things would get changed.

With that said the styling cues are actually pretty neat. Really obvious that the front bumper was sculpted from a Boneville lol

Only 5th gen trans am I'd waste money are the ones by Kevin Morgan. Too much is going on with the whole car.

That's the Kevin Morgan design. I like the back lights on the OP's post though. A two piece light would be neat.

I loved Kevin Morgan's design on paper, but when Trans Am Country brought it to reality...it just didn't work.

The only conversion, for me, that captures the essense of what the Firebird was is the only one not calling itself a Firebird or Trans Am

This is mine....built by yours truly. Basic body kit was purchased in Michigan. The rest in my own version of a 5th Generation Trans Am

I don't think its terrible. People are so eager to put someone down. Looks like a modern 4th gen. Just too exotic/japanese not muscle car looking for me.

I also don't like these 5th gen Firebirds that people make^^^ but for some reason I like this one a lot.

i actually think it's sexy. but to get me to buy one, it has to not look like it goes through weigh stations.... not a knock on the designers on this post, just a knock on the 5th gens as a whole. the trans am had a slimmer look back in the late 70's like the style they went for here.
