Default Quick Question about car not turning over.

I am digging the car out of storage and did not disconnect the battery before storing. We have placed a charger on the battery on the car and the lighs work, but the car still won't kick over. What should I be looking for to determine if I need a new battery? The car has been storage for 5 months.

Thanks for any help.

Sam

Take the battery to a local auto parts store and have it load tested. Its usually a free service.

More than likely your battery is on it's last leg.

Your battery is history. Don't waste time on it, it will never be the same even if they can charge it up again. Buy a new one.
