Hey guys new to the ls1 world but having an issue. I bought a set of motive 3.90 gears and an eaton posi and had them installed by a reputable mechanic. As soon as I got the car back there was a loud whine while cruising. Not on decel or accel. So I took it back to him told him what it was doing and had him put in another set. The motives had less than 200 miles. Richmond 3.73s this time. He installed them and Iv been taking it easy just cause I was paranoid. Put 500 miles on them no noise no problem. Last night I did a pull with a friend, 30 roll, and as soon as I got back to the speed limit the loud whine was back. To me it seems like the lash is set to tight or a bearing maybe I don't know though. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks Doug
