Are you going through the traps in 3rd or shifting into 4th. With 3.42s going into 4th will kill your times. 2.2 60s need work. Rule of thumb is every tenth you reduce the 60' time it takes off x2 in the 1/4. Also don't be misled by a high density altitude into thinking your setup is bad. First time out......practice, practice practice.

Hey my friend
You have something going on here! Your set up is an easy low 12 combo with your track elevation, 2.2 60' shows you were either spinning or launching very soft to avoid spinning.

My buddy has completely stock 180k Lt1 with new valve springs cc503 all bolt ons and 3.42s and a vig3600 his best pass at 3000'+ is a 12.77 @ 106 he also gets false knock due to the header hitting the floor on the launch and the 1-2 shift aswell

My z28 bolt ons, m6, 4.10s runs 12.9s in similar conditions... we both use mail order tunes from the same source MADTUNER

When you had the shortblock done what pistons/ compression did you go with, are your valves set correctly,is this a COMP CAMS 503 or is it a re-grind?Do you have a good fuel pump/adequate fuel pressure?

Your tach has to be off...... when i had 3.42s i went through the traps top of 3rd about 5200 and with the 4.10s i went through in 4th gear at roughly 5800

The bottom end is forged with scat rods and mahle pistons. I was told the compression ratio is 10.5 to 1. As for fuel I have a walbro 255 and svo red tops. I wasent at 6500 when I crossed the line I shift at 6500 I crossed around the rpm you stated

If your spinnin' you ain't winnin'. I would start out by putting on some M/T drag radials, then go from there:

Raceway park is a very good track and they prep very well. If you're able to drive out to Atco, I would do that since depending on how crowded the track is, you can get unlimited runs compared to the 3 at raceway park so that you can practice more.

Raceway park is 25min from me atco is a bit farther away. I've been looking into a set of hoosier quick time pros but I'm scared of the stock 10 bolt

I know how far atco is from raceway park, I used to drive there from the bronx. It is a better track and you're able to get more runs. Yeah that T56 will destroy that 10bolt even on street tires. Spinning would be your best option since if you dead hook it may blow it up.
If you have an 02 sensor code, it may be going bad, they are very easy to change out if you get the 02 sensor socket from autozone, advance auto etc.

I've already changed the sensor. Haven't gone back or even driven the car since I changed it. Yea I was going to get the drag radials and go back towards the end of the season and do a ***** to the wall launch and hope the rear holds

I remember going to Atco in the first week of December, it was very cold but also very empty, got 9 runs in and then called it a day and it was only 1pm.
