Just an FYI, we have a typo in the catalog. They are a 1.307" OD not 1.207".

Besides that, yeah they are some killer springs, all the X series spring are awesome. The "X" stands for the RPM series which is basicly the same as our 1300 series processing. IMO the best processing you can do even over nitriding. Because nitriding is so expesive, we can offer them at a cheaper price than the 1500 series. So in this case it is not too good to be true, it is just that darn good of a deal.

I installed a set of PAC 1219X springs in a customers car..and I recommend them to anyone. The beehives seam to control very well at hi rpm without bleed down or pump up occuring. This engine runs rpm friendly lobes and pulls to the limiter with no fuss. thanks for the great product

Has anyone else tried these? I have a set and I've been told they are like the 1518's with a different treatment.

I am hoping to use these with a Patrick G cam. I am hoping they will work with the cam he specs for me soon.

They are not like a 1518. The 1219X has more rate and load then the 1518. The 15 series is nitrided parts whereas the X series (RPM series) is a 1300 series process. The same process for our drag race and high lift high RPM circle track springs.

We do not offer a Kit, but do have all hardware and components to do a spring swap. Also if you wanted to keep OEM retainers and seats you would be able to with our springs. Feel free to contact us if you have any tech questions youo need sorted out.

Thanks

Matt

I appreciate the information. I'm debating lighter weight retainers but it's nice to know you can use the stock ones.

I have a question. Will these springs work in an LT application? I'm going to be building a single plane LT based 383 with the XFI280 cam. I heard these would be the superior springs over the Comp 918's. What locks, retainers and shims would I need to run these springs?
