Default Need help with Casting number

Just picked up my new short block its a 6.0L iron block and trying to find out if its pre2004 or not but cant find anything on what year it came out. Need to know to find out which head bolts to buy the casting number is 12576184

Pull the head bolts out. If its the long/short style it is 04+ if you have 3 lengths you have a pre 04 block

Buy a pair of long head bolts and thread it in all the holes and see if you have different depthS I think that would be easiest
