Gen 5 Camaro External Bolt-On Tech - Phastek DRLs

Looking to get these bulbs and harness kit, is anyone running them?? im confused on how to set these up? is there any splicing involved??

where do the diodes go?

I put them on mine. you splice with some t taps they send with the kit . I spliced and soldered the wires and put shrink tubing. they work good so far.
I understand that the diodes are check valves so the electricity does not flow back but what would it hurt without them
