LED Strip DRL/ Signals
Hey everyone,
Here's the current state of my Switchback LED Bar DRL/ Signals project. The video below shows the different modes of the lights. Don't mind the messy garage!
1. Engine OFF | Parking Lights ON | DRL White
2. Engine ON | Parking Lights ON | DRL Amber
3. Engine ON | Parking Lights OFF | NO DRL or Signal (Problem)
4. Engine ON | Parking Lights ON | DRL Amber | Signal Amber/White
5. Engine ON | Headlights ON | DRL White | Signal Amber/White
6. Engine ON | Headlights ON | DRL White | Hazards Amber/White
7. Engine ON | Parking Lights OFF | NO DRL or Signal (Problem)

I like how everything works, except I cannot figure out why the DRL doesn't light when the light switch is OFF. Currently, the DRL/High Filament wire is connected to the Amber LEDs and the Low Filament wire is connected to the White LEDs. I'm not sure if it's the DRL module that's the issue or maybe the internal circuitry of the LED bars.
Any electrical guys know what's going on?
Here's how stock TA DRLs work:
The way my LEDs are currently wired:
And with the connections reversed:
Thanks!
