Default Turbo Foxbody fuel system ?

I'm in need of ideas as to how to setup a boost ref. regulator in a 1991 foxbody. I want to use the stock lines or Dorman nylon fuel line.

Do I need the corvette filter/regulator?

I'm using a 255 walbro pump and a returnless fuel rail.

This is my first swap so any input is appreciated.

I dont think the corvette filter/regulator is boost referenced. Probably gonna have to go with an external regulator between the rails and stock fuel lines. Dead headed.

walbro 255 in tank pump--->fuel filter--->stock fuel lines extended---->external boost regulator---->fuel rail

would that work?

How much power you trying to make and on what fuel? I know some of the foxes are only 5/16 line, do you have a 3/8 feed line? What you have listed above will work, I recommend the mallory 4305M regulator.

Want to make around 450+ rwhp on 91 octane, for now. Yeah, the fox feed line is 5/16 and return is 1/4. I have 25 ft of 3/8 Dorman nylon fuel line so I was planning on making a new feed line if the 5/16 fox stock feed isnt enough. Also a 5/16 return line.

I will look up that Mallory regulator

Thanks!

Yes. Here is how I did mine on my terminator swapped 97 cobra.

Aeromotive 340-->Stock filter and hard lines (5/16 feed 1/4 return)--->Aeromotive boost referenced external FPR----->fuel rails.

Making 440rwhp on pump.

What kind of fuel line did you use from the stock hardlines to regulator? Rubber, nylon?

I used stainless steel braided 6AN lines. With these adapters that attach to the factory hardline on one side, and have a male 6AN fitting on the other.
