So what are your thoughts on a 02 WS6 with 80,400mi and:

Longtube headers
Off road Y-pipe
Slp cat back
AIR system delete (not A/C, A/C blows cold)
Custom flow bench tested ported throttle body
Smooth elbow
Slp air lid
9mm wires
Dyno tune (but no dyno sheets)

Making 380rwhp...

I have a 04 GTO with L/T's, catless mids, dyno tune and stock catback making 320/340...

Are the WS6's THAT efficient at making power???

No Dyno Sheets for proof?
I don't believe it.

Mine with a good cam & very similar mod's only makes 388 to the wheels.
I think someone is pullin' yer leg, ...
Maybe an estimated 380 at the crank, but not at the wheels.

Hmm any dyno sheets video? Not hard to believe i've seen stock WS6/SS putting down over 300whp.

A FULL bolt on tune LS1 will usually see around 350 hp 360 on a happy dyno day at the wheels, 380 is ... well, no F'n way without cam...

and when is the last time you saw a car with exhaust and small boltons making 380 hp???? maybe if you add up all the "gains up to 10 hp" "gains up to 25hp " from the packaging ,you would get that number...but in reality it doesn't work that way.

as everyone else has said it sounds a bit much I think the car is probably around 330-345whp range. So still no slouch.

Thanks guys, I have a guy wanting to trade my 04 GTO for this car I listed above. He just stayed "386 HP" so I would guess at the flywheel...and with 15% loss is right around 320 rwhp.

I came from a 04 mustang GT then a 03 mach 1 and not the 04 GTO. I was looking to get back into mustangs until this 02 WS6 came into the picture. My GTO was on the dyno last month and made 320/340.

The GTO is a great cruiser, but it's all the GTO specific parts that are $$. I would say that Camaro/TA parts are interchangeable?? And a lot cheaper due to higher volume of the cars produced.

How much money is he asking? Of he says 380 hp he probably thinks its worth $50,000 too.

My thoughts, as a stock kind of guy, is that if it has been modified by a person who has over-inflated the horse power, well it may have also been raced and hammered on.

Buyer beware.

Smitty, welcome to LS1tech! SEARCH will be your best friend.

Agreed. You ain't seeing 380 RWHP without at least a cam and perhaps some head work.

380+ with no cam or heads is hard to believe

To the crank 380 is believable but to the wheels with out cam its not happening.
