Go to Wallace racing and plug in You're #'s into their compression ratio calc ,,,,,,bore 3.779" stroke 3.622" comb chamb volume 61cc # of cylinders 8 ,,,,,piston dish ,stock 5.3L pistons have a 9cc dish which goes into the calc as a positive # deck height ,,,,,,stock 5.3L pistons come out of the hole like .010"-.015" ,,,,,,You'll need to know exactly ,,,,,,,,,,,,then if the calc gives You 9.5/1 ,,,,,,,then chnge the combustion chamber volume with all the other #'s the same try 59cc and see ,,,,,then 57cc until You get to 10.1/1 . Lets say it's 57cc that gets You to where You want to be ,,,,,,then come back to LS1 tech and do a search for how much milling needed to lower comb chamber vol by 4cc on 706 heads .
