Why the hell do you need a cog drive. A 8 rib pulley with or without flip drive is good enough. What are you spinning that motor to?

you can NOT put a cog on a d1, the bearings on the main shaft will not take it, I called procharger and talked to there techs they said you will kill the bearings and the transsmisson after a while

what you need is called an Aster Bracket. It solves the procharger belt problems, and lucky you there is a group purchase going on now. Get it while it lasts. Does not happen often.

what answers are you looking for?

If you are waiting for the guy to come in and say oh yeah go for it then I dont see the point of even asking in the first place. How many ways does it need to be put that it seems like the answer is no, not a good idea and then another solution to the problem is given to you along with a way to purchase it at a good price. Im not sure how much more you want?

Sorry about bumping this old thread, but I stumbled across it and this post caught my eye. Can someone elaborate more on this please? I'm trying to picture how the cog drive puts more stress on the bearings. If I'm not mistaken (and I may very well be), shouldn't a cog drive put LESS stress on it vs a serpentine, since a serpentine has to "grip" tighter to prevent slip rather than a cog drive which has nice engagement teeth?

Love to hear some more input on this.

ATI now offers a super pulley that is much easier on the blower/crank overall but has limited tooth configurations. plus the schoeneck bracket ( and dan's a friend of mine) is ******* HUGENORMOUS! by the time the blower is on it, you have no chance of fitting a filter on it.

I just installed the 50mm cog setup from Dan it will be tight but i plan on running a filter on it. I pie cut 4" tubing and makes a tighter radius without losing flow.

please do a writeup on it JJ. I would love to know I could get an F1-X on my car before I search for more power in the future and look towards a T6 single setup.

ATI Performance Products has had the Super Pulley on the market for many years now. The idea is good but it hangs a lot of weight out there on the end of the blower. Bob
