I am not aware of any way to check specs on the cam... the only way would be for the guy to remember what cam he put in... to my knowledge there is not a camshaft spec finding machine! lol

When you degree a camshaft, you will know the duration and lift. You'll have to get a degree wheel and a dial indicator that will fit the lifter bore. I've never done it on and LS engine, but I have on an older 350. I imagine it would be a pain in the *** with the engine in the car. But you can figure out every spec this way.

I think this would be tough to do short of pulling the cam out and trying to find a serial number to reference it with. We get all of our cams from comp cams and they have a serial number ground into the back of the cam that we can reference with them to get cam specs. You could also take it out and get it cam doctored if you can find someone that does that.
