I just about got this bad boy bolted together, and despite telling Texas speed to hold the pushrods they sent me some 7.350 pushrods.
They appear to be too long if you as me, they aren't activating the valves, but there is resistance when I pull the rocker arm tip off the valve.
Anyways, I had them deck the head for 11:5-1 compression. I have stage 2.5 ls6 heads, ls7 lifters, 228r cam (.588 lift), and GM multilayer steel head gasket.
Of course I'm going to so my best to measure appropriately the length of the pushrods with the comp tool, but on average, what lengths do you guys usually end up going with?
