Default FI PCV System

What are all you FI guys doing with your PCV systems? You venting everything to atmosphere or running a catch can with a one way check valve or what? I have been venting mine to atmosphere but tired of the oily residue around the filler neck and tired of the oil smell.

Is your PCV deleted? Are you only venting 1 valve cover?

Yes PCV is deleted currently but looking for the best way to put it back on correctly for a boosted setup so not to pressurize the crankcase and not have an oily mess inside the intake. Yes I was venting through the filler neck. The car is down right now for a crank issue so want to see how you guys have yours all setup so I can change it while its town apart.

So then all I need to do is get a catch can with a filter on it and two line connections on it and then run a line from driver and passenger rocker cover to the catch can and cap all the other connections like on the intake and everything?

That's what I did, If you have a ls6 valley cover you can vent that right to the can as well.

I do not have the LS6 valley cover as mine is an LQ9 iron block. Does it matter where in the rocker covers you weld the fittings? Who makes the nicest vented catch can with two fittings on it?

This all sounds very simple and I think it is exactly what I will do.

just weld the male fittings to the back of the rocker covers so that the coil pack bracket clears, i do this all the time and never had any issues
on the drivers side you have to pull that pressed fitting out and then drill it to size

By the back do you mean like closer to the valley cover or closer to the firewall?

This is how I run mine as well and haven't had any issues. The dual can setup is the way to go IMO
