Default I know it gets old but goin crazy lol help

I am about to sell my t/a and buy a fox body to do (guess what lol) 5.3 turbo build.
I have researched for like 2 years. My head is spinning with all these turbo specs and every 1 is using what seems like a choice of 20 turbos lol.
I wanna do stock as possible and be as fast as possible, Within mine and the motors best out come.
I want atleast a 9.99 pump gas and it to live for a while (couple years).haha. Im sure i can get the car around 3000 pound with me in it.
goals; rip a 9.99-spool up decent. and just plain out beat the ***** out of it
so 550rwhp should doit rite? Pretty much know what i need to do just have 3 ?s
#1. what size injectors?
#2. What stock head?
#3. last what size turbo?? losing my mind on this one lol
what about this one from forced induction?

At 550rwhp the car is going to have to weigh 3000lbs to do that, maybe 3200.

My car makes a little over 600-625rwhp weighs 2995 with me in it goes 1.29 60' like clock work and would probably run 9.40-9.50 in the 1/4 if I ran it in the 1/4.

I would shoot more for 600-650rwhp seeing as the car will probably weigh a good bit more than what I mentioned.

I would go with a S475 T4 92mm or the 87mm turbine wheel 1.10 ar unit. I would really heavily lean towards the 92mm even though it's slightly more expensive the flow from the turbine wheel it uses is insane compared to the others.

I would go with 80 pound injectors and 243 heads or 799 heads with a slightly thicker head gasket than factory, a .060 head gasket should get the compression down in the 9's without pulling my compression calculator out although the dynamic compression matters more than the static and that is determined by the camshaft being used along with the other requirements needed to figure out static compression.

I have used the 83mm wheel and the 87mm wheel on a few be turbos. The 74mm and 80mm.

No sense in wasting money on the upgrade stuff most of the time for a basic budget build.

You don't need any of the stuff the guy above me mentioned. At 600rwhp especially.

I just need 1 of you seasoned turbo guys to give me the thumbs up on it. If it not what I need say it. Lol

I think you should be a bit more specific about what does and doesn't need to be upgraded.

I would like to see you push the kind of numbers he is looking to push with stock injectors/fuel pump. Kind of a no-**** upgrade but I am just saying

You would definitely need to upgrade your valvesprings as FI will eat up a weak valvetrain.

I'd also thrown in something like a LS6 cam for a budget turbo cam

Martin (Fbodyjunkie) used to be a turbo guy.

I agree with the 80lb injectors they might be a tad on the large side, but they will leave you room to grow.

600 is pretty normal on a stock bottom end 5.3 you'll see a ton of 5.3 turbo builds on here.

I am doing a similar build with bigger goals. The s475 with the T4 should be plenty for your goals and spool quickly. 80lb injectors will be fine with a good fuel pump or 2. I went with the s480 with the 92 turbine and 1.10 ar T6 housing, but again I have slightly larger hp goals.

Ya .I deff want it to spool up as fast as it can on the street. So the s475 with a t4 flange will spool faster than the t6 flange?

The turbine wheel and the AR of the turbine housing has as much to do with it as the flange.

If its a race car use race gas. Whats the point of pump at the track? Just risking the build.

Its a street car that will go 2 the track a couple times a year. So at what point do you have 2 run race gas? Im guessing around 15 psi.
