New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Is this the stock Y2Y package exhaust?

I recently purchased a '98 SS and saw the Y2Y option in the codes. However, given the car has 140k miles I am hoping for your expert eyes to let me know if you think this is still the stock exhaust..
Here's what I see: Headers each go to a pipe, the driver side pipe is "flattened" (not rounded) while the passenger side pipe has a cat on it. This Y's into one pipe that goes back to a muffler that runs parallel to the axle and out of it comes 2 pipes for the 4x tailpipes. Pics included.
Thanks in advance!

Looks like the SLP dual/dual, that catback was available as an option all the way until '02, very nice system you have there.

If you had an exhaust upgrade as part of your Y2Y options, then dual/dual would be it ('98-'02). And that certainly appears to be a stock dual/dual system in those pictures.
For '98, a non-Y2Y SS would have had a single in/single out catback. It was the only year for that system on a base SS.

My initial performance upgrades were going to be LT headers>catted Y pipe>catback. Obviously LT headers will still be a huge improvement, but what about a new catted Y? I assume the catback can stay as is?

Catback can definitely stay, there's nothing really as quiet that will flow as well. Also, it's mandatory to change your Y anyways when you do decide to get LT headers.

as my combo has changed and progressed ive still kept my SLP DD. quality catback that sounds great with any LT setup.

Great news thank you, it is bit quiet for me, but not going to throw money away. Now I need to snap some pics of springs/shocks/brakes I don't think they're stock

If you don't have a sniffer test to pass in your area, you can go with an ORY that will increase the volume some. Dual/dual with LTs and ORY sounds excellent! :)

Thanks, sadly I'm in NY and the emissions regulations are pretty stringent here :eek2:
