Firebird trans am 1998 LS1

I need to replace the AC compressor and i need advice which compressor is better cooling DENSO or DELPHI??

Also which headlight motor is better ACDELCO or CARDONE??

This thread ends in a story about the Cardone Motors.

Plus - You can change the gears very easily.
Minus - The electrical connectors are horrible and will rust on you quickly. (Assuming Cardone hasn't fixed the problem yet.)

If the Cardone motors coming out of the factory today are like the ones I purchased, I'd recommend staying away from them!

If you're not selling your car any time soon......take it to the dealer, spend the $800 or so dollars for a new compressor and other parts.....and get the LIFETIME parts and labor warranty. Thats what I did like 6 years ago, never will I pay another penny for an A/C repair from a dealership.

I searched a lot for any review about the two brands and found only one is suggesting DENSO.

I work in a Denso factory. Trust me. You want Delphi.
