I've been tossing around the idea of getting some 1LE fog light delete grills for my car since I never use the fogs anyway after my 5000k 55w HID's went in. My car is a white w/ orange stripes 97 z28 30th anniversary.

So I'm thinking of getting some 1LE grilles and color matching them white if anyone's got pics or can photoshop this real quick for me. I figure it could either look great or awful, so I wanna see what it will look like before I go out and buy them. They're hard to find now, I could only find them at like $30 a side lmfao. They used to be like $4.

Either that, or I'd like to see what a WHITE billet grille would look like on a LT1 camaro as well. Same thing there, could either look great or fugly as hell... my car looks great as is but I want to clean up the front grill area and my fogs are just useless dead weight looking ugly up there.

I never realized these were so "rare". I have them on my '95 Z28. I believe it has them because the car was not ordered with fog lights - not because it's a 1LE.

And yea, some vendor on fleebay used to sell them, but no longer does, people want like 90-120 for the damn things, its retarded. I just removed my fogs, and the brackets when I pulled the bumper, thats about the best I can do for now.

There's a guy with a firebird website (can't remember off the top of my head, but it comes up if you google around for the 1LE deletes) that still sells them for $30 a side brand new, GM parts. Crazy since they used to be like $4 each lol but whatever.

Thanks for the photoshop man, that at least gives me an idea! Wish i could see how they would look without the front liscense plate cover though, that throws it off... I'm also wondering if it would look decent just deleting the foglights and shooting the leftover recess' with the OEM match white.. not sure though!

IMO a white grille on a white 4th gen is too much, just makes the front look bland. Black tends to help the white pop a lot more and break things up some.
