Trans Am has heads, cam, FAST mani, full exhaust, 4.10, 3800 converter, and DRs. The truck has a S475 single turbo and fuel mods...
Both runs were 30 rolls,

Truck tried brakeboosting a little more the 2nd run and got a little sideways lol. Gonna run it back soon with DRs on the truck and Nitrous on both vehicles (E85/200 shot for TA and 2 stages on the truck)...

S475 T4 with .90 back, full cut DV's n over size holders, no fuel plate, head studs, FBD 435 injectors aka 5x.014 ...other shit i am sure i cant remember...n a build tranny cuz dodge tranny suck balls am sure u already know....
Truck has nitrous but cant run it on my current pos tires

Couldnt dyno properly since that pos dynojet is not a loaded dyno...going by those #s with a curb weight of 6600lb would put me around mid to probably high 14sec truck...lol

Just spoke to him, TA was tuned @ Masport 4 years ago and tranny was rebuilt 2 years ago. Could use some touching up I think, I been telling him to let our buddy DSMLights work his magic on the tune... Think he is just waiting till he gets the spray to retune... He should be checking into the thread soon

lol at some of the comments, The T/A was purchased not too long ago, this is the 2nd run since on my possession. Was taken 3 weeks ago to the track, after the burnout in 2nd gear threw her on D and she was running in one gear the whole time, till I let off half way down the track, one of the techs noticed a tranny leak and that was it, I couldn't run her again, I took her to a tranny place and they said the main rear seal needs to be fixed, I wasn't gonna run her till that was taken care of, but pure pressure its a bitXx, she is a dog on D and manually shifting seems to have a good delay, still getting use to the auto coming fr0m a t56'd kb terminator

I recently did my 4 gsk ...need to put my 60lb valve springs...Sunrise is Broward, Close to Sawgrass Mall, btw didnt even looked at my EGTs....i dont worry about them since is never an issue

What size pump? I had almost the same set up on a 175hp pump with a 66mm and 5x16s and did alittle over 670hp and 1400tq.

THANKS Brother, i'm still learning the car and the whole manual shifting deal, i'm more used to my ex-03 kb cobra t56 6speed manual, this is the 3rd time i take her out for a spin, on these runs i was going from 1st to 2nd and then 3rd :argh: ,
i was talking/texting to the O.P which he also has an auto fbody and gave me few pointers and how to just shift from 1st to Drive and how the shift selector is different, he's got a 98 and his got 1,2,D,OD and mines a 2000 with 1,2,3,D and how the 3rd on my selector its actually D and D its OverDrive, :bash: i'm glad i didnt went D while running the truck, but rather 1,2,3 thus why hittin the rev before i got a chance to shift soon enough

285 think they were some crap brand I couldnt break boost it would just spin, you can here me fighting for traction in this video vs a WRX not sure on his mods but he said he was "built". I was about 550hp in this one.

As far as slicks, I was able to run 15s on my first gen. For my second gen I bought a set of 17" steel wheels off a 06 base model and had them widened to 10" wide and ran a 315/50r17 which I think is a 30" tire.

good runs. i'm not a diesel fanboi, but that's cool shit seeing an oil burner hang with a modified pony car.
i do think the excessive wheelspin and rev limiter on the ellis juan car's part plays a big role as to why it looked like the truck hung so well. shit that car at the track is prob giving up 4 mph with that bs.
my auto bolt-on car gave up 2 mph from a laggy 2-3 shift. i can't imagine what it's doing to the car in the vid. i say those gears, traction, and a proper shift put that ta out a couple cars.

shiift selector goes 1.2.3.D while others say 1.2.D.OD, go figure, i didnt know that and no wonder thought my car on "D" was a dog
and yeah even on 3rd she's a bit laggy going from 2nd to 3rd

Took the T/A for a test drive, this time in 3D and went wot at 30, the 1st to 2nd shift its good with the trans shifting at 5500 rpms and falling to 4200 on 2nd gear , but on the 2nd to 3rd shift she seems like over revs delays ove revs again and goes into 3rd, any ideas? theres a small tranny leak by the main seal so tomorrow i'm going to ck the level and add accordingly, hopefully she is just running a little low and it didnt f'd up anything.

If you just bought it, do it right: Drain the fluid, replace the seal, add fresh fluids. Then test it.
You don't know the last time it was changed, and it doesn't hurt to change it.

Its the car not the driver, like he said he is coming from a big blower + spray M6 cobra, trust me he can handle a 400whp automatic lol... He just bought the car recently, so he is finding the bugs that need to be worked out each time he drives it. For instance he was told the car had a 4.10 gear, after he told me what speed he was hitting the limiter at in 3rd, we figured out the car actually has a 3.73... Bugs will get fixed, things will be added, and the car will haul ass in due time...
