Southern Members - Any trustworth tech member from Georgia want to help me out and make a little cash?

I broke my buddys transmission on his 350z, and I found one. Problem is its in georgia and I am in Indiana. The shipping the company wants is outrageous! So I am going to nut up and make the drive. Here's where you come in; I was wondering if for some gas money someone would be willing to pick the transmission up for me and meet me closer up to me. Doesnt have to be anything drastic but even an hour will take 2 hours out of my trip! The town is Jenkinsburg. I would oay for your gas and a little extra. Sucks that this happened but I am trying to man up and make it right for my buddy!

how are you trying to ship it? i shipped a fully assembled motor and tranny together 800 lbs from flordia to texas and it cost me 300 bucks through R+L carriers. UPS and FED EX and all them wanted 1800 bucks. told them to fuck off.

The company I'm buying from is picking the shipping residential is 225 plus like 150. Commercial is just 225

By the time you paid someone for their time to make it worth their while, paid their gas, and paid your gas to meet them you'd probably spend as much as it would cost to ship it anyway. And it'd be a helluva lot less hassle in shipping since it's coming straight to the door step.
