WTB 67 Firebird (or equal) column parts
Hello everyone,
I'm putting my steering column back in shape and I seem to be missing 2 parts to complete it.
In the Firebird service manual page 12-19 figure 12-30 show the two parts I am missing. If you look at this link:
http://thefirstgensite.com/library/6...ce/FI67S12.pdf
its the "shift bowl upper bearing" and the "turn signal switch" that I need. Your probably wondering why I don't just buy a switch right? two reasons: for one, the equivalent aftermarket switch for this particular application was never made. They do make one without the indicator bulb but it sells for around 109.00! the second reason is that i only need this column temporary until I can afford the I-DID-IT column. So I just want something that will work with what I got until then.
its for a automatic column shift
If your like me your probably going to try searching for that switch on line, good luck i couldn't find one.
This set-up was made for many Pontiac cars (not Chevy) for many years. I would appreciate any help here.
