I have an LS1 still in the original 02 SS camaro. Runs good, but may need freshened up as it seems to smoke a little. 69,000 miles, with 6000 miles on it since installing mild cam and ported tsp 241 heads 2 years ago.

It has been down the qtr mile twice with lots of spinning @ 109.25 mph. 10 road race sessions last year. 6000 street miles in last 2 years.
