motor dropped a lifter and car wwas shut down b4 anything was hurt..pulled the pan and didnt have any metal shavings in oil pan or pickup tube..but to be on the safe side i would do bearings and throw in a new oil pump(cheap insurance)
motor was in a 06 vette with livernoise cnc 243 heads only had 4k miles on it and was boosted with a d1...car belong to a old man so never beat on it really and only had 12lbs of boost going thru it due to only having injectors,bap and meth kit for fuel so just wanted it safe and reliable.. so motor wasnt beat on at the track didnt have 20lbs throw at it, or leaned on hard by any means!!!!!
