98ss m6 500 rwhp 12bolt diff soon to have slicks and skinnies
What are my options for a driveshaft can get a steel driveshaft with a new 1350 yoke for $300 bucks locally will it need balancing? Or would it be better to order one from a forum sponser?

A local shop that makes driveshafts should balance every dirveshaft they produce. If they don't, I'd be concerned. Take a look at the PST driveshafts I sell at this link. http://shop.brutespeed.com/82-02-F-Body-Driveshafts_c2286.htm Bob

I went with a PST from Bob@BruteSpeed for a couple of reasons. 1. He includes an upgraded yoke at no extra charge and 2. He has an excellent reputation here. I've been pleased so far. I do prefer the lighter aluminum to steel or chromoly units.

balancing is a must on any driveshaft...
