Just incase you haven't started yet or whatever, it's a good idea to use black silicone when putting the lights back together. Can't remember if it says that in the write-up or not, just something to think about. I did mine around 20 min at 200 or 210 also.

i used clear silicone in the past. its what i bought aswell. should i return it and switch to black? the blow dryer seems like it would take a very long time... anyone else done it with a blow dryer? i dont have access to heat gun at the moment, but i know hair dyers should get hot enough. may be wrong tho.
i did it in the oven, but it was years ago. needed a refresher. thanks guys.

i used a heat gun i bought at home depot for like 20 bucks and it worked wonders getting them apart. i wanted to plasti dip the lights and cut away the part that covers up the reflectors but never did. but a heat gun and a putty knife got the job done for me, just try not to heat up the weather stripping like i did haha

I used clear also, just if you use too much or some squeezes inside the lens it may look better black instead of clear. You'll be fine with clear, just don't use way too much
