Hello fellow members. So just on here trying to absorb some info. Get ideas on my build and strategically build a reliable, fun, sports car to track and drive. I drive a Nissan 240sx. This is my second one that I have owned. Light weight rear wheel drive. Fun little cars. I blew my head gasket and was going to rebuild it and turbo the 4 cylinder to try to make around 300HP. The more I started researching the more the thought of dropping in an LS1 made more sense. For slightly more than rebuilding and turboing the motor I had I can convert to an LS1 and T56. So I will probably linger on here and learn a thing or too and when the time is right put it to good use. Anyway great to be on here and if anyone has any good advice I'd like to hear it.

Definately will keep everyone posted. Right now just lurking looking for parts. At the moment wondering if there is a cheaper lighter alternative to the T56. I've seen some people say the T5 would hold up to a stock LS1 but skeptical. I know I don't want an automatic.

don't subscribe yet. Haven't bought a single part. Still researching. I need to find options as far as manual transmissions. Once I get going there will be no turning back though. Funny how when you don't have money deals are there and when you do you can't find what you need.
