General Maintenance & Repairs - cooling system

Ooooh am i frustrated!! Symptoms; over heating. Drop in power, loosing coolant but no obvious leaks. Already did; new water pump,radiator,sensor,thermostat(2 actually,just to b sure) ,coolant recovery tank, flushed with cleaner,then water,than refilled,bled excess air,paid professionals to solve NOTHING!? Checked for blown head gaskets,no obvious,oil-coolant cross overs?' Too much pressure causing coolant to be FORCED through headlight and ..... ... .. recoveytank

may be a long shot here, check your 2 hoses that go to the radiator. one will be for the overflow, and one will be a vent hose coming from the engine.

the overflow hose needs to be on the top port on the radiator, and the vent hose needs to be on the bottom port. when you look at the radiator cap, look straight down the radiator and youll see what hoses im talking about.
