LS2 Block which Valley Pan (PICS) Ok I picked a good aluminum LS2 block that I have took to the machine shop to be honed and cleaned up. I'm in the process of ordering parts to get this build going and wondering which valley pan I should use. The part number says the block was a 05 model but I do not know what it came out of. It does have to holes in the valley area like the L92 blocks and such. I have read that I can use the LS3 valley pan Part #12599296 is this true.

LS2 and LS3 valley covers are identical except for the fitting that breathing fitting that comes out the front....the fittings are in the same spot, but with a different style fitting on each.
