Default Finally got my CME tips put on, pic inside!





Wasnt just a slip on and weld kinda deal though, had to stretch the elbows pretty tight to get them on but all is well! Now i just have to get my valance on and painted! What do you guys think?

Is it straight? Or waiting for the valence to get it straightened up?

Contrats though, I wanted CME tips before I even got my car.. So glad I did it

its about a half inch or so outta whack, any advice on how to straiten it up?

Same here! just been putting off putting them on for some reason.

It will look much better when you get the VALANCE installed.

You should have installed the valance first then put the tips on to center them up and adjust as necessary. That is what I had to do...

thats how we did it. The valance was used, they are centered but slightly angled. Its not noticeable with the valance on but its gonna bug me!

LS1HIGHLIFE, your car has the perfect exhaust set-up IMO, can you tell me which model of Flowmasters those are? It looks like you have some mini cats in your Y-pipe, correct? Im definetly jealous, great job!

It should combined with a thumb then a good buffing in that spot to remove any residue or some alcohol also

I just took my thumb nail to mine, I didn't even use a heat gun but mine was just a sticker though. I don't know what yours is or mad of though.

+1 for the exhaust though. Looks good and will even better once you get the valence put on.
