Street Racing & Kill Stories - RI/CT Official Meet Thread

Im looking to gather all the RI guys and CT guys for a day of some friendly races, food, beer, etc. Plan on it being a weekend a few weeks out. Taking opinions on what weekend would should do this. I want everyone in attendance. Going to be August 18th until further notice. If it need to be post poned for a better turn out or weather then plan for the next weekend. Location hasnt been completely determined. I know personally in my area where we can meet (Warwick RI). Open to ideas

Ill be bringing my camera. If i can get some good footage, ill be putting this into a mini movie.

Kill Story: I killed my stock shifter with my hurst shifter... it was a tough battle between shift firmness/harder shifting and shift sloppyness/softer shifting... but in the end... the hurst shifter with bent handle and stock ball prevailed. Awesome shift control!

I say Saturday the 18th or Sunday the 19th. Gives everyone more than 2 full weeks to request the day off, get cars tuned/fixed, etc.

do it up... ill be getting tuned the 13th. My guess is 415whpish right now... after tune around 430whpish... hopefully with nice tq gains as well.. I need something to make up for my slightly slower shifts now that i wont be doing any power shifting

not when the blower is maxed out.. ill prolly only pick up a lb with the smaller pulley but jack the heat up as well... i hurt myself by lowering the compression..but ill trade that for being able to beat the piss out of this thing with out worry. the ice box should help and so will the juice.

Even if it makes 500 RWHP which it wont through the auto, its still prob a low 120 car. Torquey as HELL though lol. It goes down the rode with the drivers side a few inches higher then the passengers at WOT.

well hopefully with this thing tuned, it may be good for a 122-123 trap... hopefully. Thats high hopes on a tune cuz i suspect its good for 119-120 right now. Im just hoping the cam advance gives this thing as much of a mid range boost as ive seen online. Ill find out soon enough

Thats probably going to put me as the slowest. Ive never been to the track, but when I finally make it, id be more than happy hitting 120.
