Depends on CFM and PSI numbers. I'm sure it is only a few lbs of boost resulting in low IAT's with a low CR as well.

Its not making 1100 hp without the intercoolers.... Look at the proof tab where it shows dyno results.

Their 1100+ hp figures are on 100 oct fuel and intercooler since its taking 20 psi to do that.

91 oct non intercooled it only gets to 650-ish hp which is about right. Its only seeing 9 psi! 100 oct non intercooled can see 800 at about 14psi.

Assuming 75 deg air inlet temps, 50% humidity at atmospheric pressure, 9 psi is already at 174 deg F at 82.6% efficiency Most turbos are no where near that high....something like 70-75 would be more realistic. 15psi at 80% eff is something like 233 deg F. its gettin hot quick

^^^ Extremely hot air.... Hot air=less dense... plus its hot so I assume they would back off timing and be removing fuel.

Less timing and a boat load of fuel.

There was a buick guy who made more HP without an intercooler but was running 3 or 4 nozzles of alky to keep the temps down. I think he was running 20psi as well.

quoted from site....."The efficiency of our compressor design helps to reduce inlet air temperatures to acceptable levels, eliminating the need for an intercooler."

If its a custom designed wheel, for the boost range and motor requirements, I can see a high level of efficiency but I doubt its any higher than 80's % Even at that, you will have hot temps on higher boost levels. Alky is your friend if you dont have room for intercooler

that basic banks twin as been around for 15+ years...probably 20. Think 3rd Gens. Its a fantastic cast log that will never break...but because of the age, it was designed around a carb or TBI set up which would have an inherently cooler intake charge (fuel in the air charge vs. at the port). I have always wanted this kit with some 60mm in a 3rd gen with a CSU blow-through.

With the turbos sitting up high it may stick out of the hood like my old setup

Throw some E85 in that sucker and IATs would no longer be an issue...
