Default 3.4l to LT1 swap no start

Hey guys just looking for a little bit of input. Like the title says I swapped my firebird's 1994 3.4l V6 A4 for a 1993 Z28 LT1 A4. I bought the entire Z28 car and did the swap straight across to my car; engine, cradle, transmission, harness and compuer. When I turn the key to run everything turns on; lights, radio, accessories, etc. When I go to turn the engine over nothing happens, no fuel pump, no starter, just silence. I tried the resistor mod with the resistances of my car and then again with the resistance of the Z28, neither worked. Just today I put on the VATS bypass module from Hawks Third Gen and it also did nothing. Triple checked all grounds from ECM and starter. I'm just out of ideas outside of a total ECM replacement. I know this a persistent, annoying question on all f-body forums but I've searched and tried every option that I could find. Appreciate any advice or ideas that you all have.

Yeah the starter will crank if I cross it but that's it. I've not tried to spray any starter fluid down the intake while crossing it but even if I did I'm not sure what that would accomplish lol.

Sounds like some of the bad ignition switches we hear about on here.

This would involve pulling the steering wheel and turn signal switch correct?

By crossing the starter i am trying to see if its the starter not firing the motor. It did not so i am thinking its a sequrity issue. Because it seems the injectors are not firing either. See if u have power and ground to the injectors. Because its the computer that grounds the system after a sequrity check.

Shouldn't the VATS bypass module have eliminated any security issues that may have been stopping it from firing? I have it spliced directly into the ECM in the engine bay.

The ECM is not going to cause the starter to not engage. Sift through the schematic for the starter circuit and see why you are not getting the solenoid energized.

I had the vats tuned out on my 93, and still sometimes it would not start. After tunning is it the BCM that was causing the problem? Shbox?

If you have still have the doner car I would swap steering columns just to eliminate the possibility. It should less then an hour to swap them out.

A 93 doesn't even have a BCM (introduced in 1996). It would have a TDM. Tuning is only half of the equation in totally bypassing the VATS. The TDM has to be satisfied (by the key pellet) to allow starter operation or the TDR has to be bypassed. All this information is on my website.

Thanks for the advice shbox. I'll take a look at the TDR and TDM and see if I can't convince them to stop holding my engine hostage.
