New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - How much tranny fluid?

Did a quick search and didn't find the answer.

How much tranny fluid should the LS1 M6 tranny hold from empty to full?

4qts. You technically can't overfill it, or underfill it for that matter. Open the fill hole and pour fluid in until it starts to come out of the fill hole. Then it's full.

some fill it through the shifter housing, in which it's probably possible to "overfill", but you're still supposed to open the fill hole to prevent that

Yeah I thought about that after I said that. It's a real pain to fill through the fill hole. I've never tried through the Shifter though. I'd bet its a lot easier.
