Check out these photos of our 71 camaro at barber in July. It was our first track day since finishing the car. We have a CRD LS2 in the car.

Nice car! What's the rest of your build, if you don't mind me asking? Got any under hood shots?

I added pics of the engine, interior, and chassis to the album posted above.
I have had this car since I was 18 (34 years). After many years of autocrossing and abuse, it was time for a complete rebuild. Almost everthing has been replaced or upgrade except the roof and rear tailight valance.
Engine: CRD prepared 416 CI LS2 with fast fuel injection and ignition, Daily Engineering Dry sump pump and oilpan.
Drive train: Liberty gears upgraded Tremec TKO 600, Aluminm drive shaft, ford 9 inch, and strange aluminum center, tilton 7.25 inch dual disc button clutch.
Suspension: Detroit speed front subframe and C6 suspension, Raceng billet uprights, and quadralink
Brakes: Wilwoods all around, Tilton balance bar pedal assemby
Interior: Full carbon fiber interior and trans tunnel, titanium floor and firewall, full cage, fiberglass dash
Body: Fiberglass trunk, doors, fenders, nose, hood with custon flares, lexan windows, carbon fiber wing, mirrors, and rear bumper, tegris front splitter.
Performance: This car is crazy fast and will spank any modern supercar!

Car is KILLER!
What lap times at Barber?

We did not take any lap times. It was the car's first event since the rebuild, so I was taking is easy (9/10th). Even so, I was were passing Shelby cobra's, Corvette Z06's, Porshe twin turbos and GT-3 cup cars, and even an Audi R8 like they were standing still.
When driving a vintage camaro, these track day events always start the same. The Porshe and BWM crowd doesn't even look your way. After you blow their doors off, they want to know what mods you have made, so then I keep the hood on and tell them its stock!

LMAO, same here.
When we pull into the paddock we have two 99 model Camaro's on an open trailer, you should see the looks we get.
After the 2nd or 3rd session all the prissy Porsche, BMW and Vette owners that had to point us by come over to our pit and start snooping around.
Your car is bad ass.
That is a wild 2nd gen Camaro. Love the fab work and modern mods. It must absolutely be a blast on track.
What does it weigh wet with fuel?
Where are the fiberglass body panels from?
Wish you were on the West Coast to tango with a 438ci 2470lb Mazda RX-7 ;)

Just picked up the body last week. Will be starting soon and I will post a thread.
I meant to ask, where did you get those rear flairs Joseph?
