What vehicle? The high ram seems to cater to higher rpm's. Also, you will not fit it under the stock hood on an f or y body, or the cowl. If your looking for good, all around useable power, stick with the fast.

More than likely, your going to lose your wipers. I still say the fast will be a better intake.

The hi-ram will destroy the fast everywhere over 5000rpm, and match it above 3500rpm, as well as shift the powerband 3-500rpm higher, and carry it 800rpm longer.

im shooting for 600+rwhp around 6500-7000rpm what will i gain powerwise with hi ram over the fast?

Is there a specific reason you want to use a MS3 on a 408?

I'd want a bigger cam then that especially with nitrous.

You need more cam and rpm to make 600 at the tire NA.

you gotta understand i chose the ms3 because i needed to be able to spray....itll make its power....:-) seen plenty above 600rwhp with a ms3

LOL, I don't mean to sound like an ass, but that is far from the cam I'd use in a 408 let alone a 408 on nitrous.

If you'd like I can spec you out one that will beat that cam up and down all through out the power band.

The MS3 is a fine cam in a 346, but does not have NEAR enough IVC or EVO for a 408 with nitrous.

I'm curious to find out the cam specs you'd think were good for this 408/n20? PM me the results if you would :)

I would never choose an ms3 for a stroker motor when there are so many other off the shelf stroker cams out there if you want to go that route.

Getting one spec'd for your combination is not much more than buying one off the shelf. So, If I were you I would get one spec's to maximize your combo and meet your goals.

580 maybe at the crank and that's a big maybe. That's not 580 at the wheels.

Listen to what we tell you and we can get you to run around your buddy like he's tied to a stump. Run the combo you posted and you will be "stumped" to why its not making power like it should.
