I'm sure it will all be very good. But it will hit the mainstream production cars first, especially where tight emissions controls are in place forcing smaller engine sizes.

It will be a long time before it hits the aftermarket though

That's what I need for my set-up... a dual-boost twinturbo.

Its not new tech! back to back compresor wheels where first used in WW2 (i know the Napier Saber engines supercharger used one). Alex flow turbines are also more common in very larger turbochargers. would be great to see in cars though. Wonder if VGT could be incoreperated into the trubo as well?
