Not exactly true. Bolt pattern on the 5th gen is 120mm, but 5x120 is not the same as 5x4.75
5x4.75 is f-body bolt pattern which is 120.65mm
5th gen (120 mm) is 5x4.72"
All in all lugs will really only be off by about the thickness of a few sheets of paper, not really enough to matter. During quarter mile testing of the ZL1 GM actually used some c6 z06 wheels with drag radials, so you can run a 5x4.75 wheel on a 5th gen, just know that it isn't the exact bolt pattern and could possibly give you issues or be unsafe. Its pretty damn unlikely though, a bunch of 5th gen guys are running that bolt pattern with no problem.
5th gen studs are 14 mm, f-body is 12.
