I'm just curious as to how much they really helped....when I did my MTI heads/X1 cam swap on my 99' I kept the stock rockers.....still made 440rwhp.....how much would have 1.8's helped that motor??

I just drove my car with them on, and it certainly rpms quicker, and pulls harder....right up until the valves floated at 5500 rpm. I tried getting away with using the stock springs. Wrong! But you most likely couldn't use them with your setup without fly-cutting the pistons. I think MTI Stg II heads are milled .030, and the X1 has what, 590 lift? So that would put you at ~ 625 lift. Not going to work with flat tops....
