Generation IV Internal Engine - stock lq9 with 317 heads

I assume the compression is stock 10to1

what head gasket thickness is stock?

If I put on ls9 head gaskets what will the compression drop down to be?

.051 stock thickness. I believe the ls9 gaskets are the same. Not sure on bore. Your compression will not drop much.

thanks, so How can I drop the CR to a max of 9.5?

Have the chambers enlarged or install boost pistons.

Or sell it, buy an lq4 and pocket the rest.
