baskins will be coming for sure. with a couple changes, hope for the better.

I'm registered John but to be 100% honest it's going to be close. Odds are against us being ready but we are trying are best. Hope to see everyone there.

Were in as always with Don Dixons GTO in Index, and I believe Jeff Heintz is going to run his truck again in index also. May have one Real Street car to bring along too.

I am going to try and make it for the Index Rumble. There is a Beanie Copter convention in town that weekend. I am on the fence, not sure what to do.

We just took a vote and think you should go to the Beanie Copter convention, because even considering doing something else that week is a capital offense!!! :)

Me and a few friends are gonna be there in a Black TBSS. Not bringing my car, but if it is as good as '10, its gonna be a badass weekend.

Going testing this week for the first time since March.

Will be at the track about 8 am on friday. Not sure where we are staying yet. Prob going to priceline the room.

Engine in the car is also for sale after Sat TS is done.

Well I'm back to a maybe

During the honing process we noticed a spot that was possibly the beginning of a hairline crack in the liner. We also found a few spots in the water jackets that didn't look good either. So I just sourced another stock block and dropped it off at the machine shop this morning.

Testing went well. 4 passes. Blew the tires off first hit fixed that. 9.75 138 9.80 136 took put the tune back and went 9.75 138.58. The 60' was only a 1.37 on all the passes car just didn't accelerate that good in the front 1/2.

85 mile round trip no issues at all.

I do have a couple things I need to fix but very minor stuff

I pre-registered 2 weeks ago, and I was unable to print off the confirmation sheet that your supposed to have at the show. I tried to go to the library and print it out, but my aol account was hacked and I can't get into it. I did write my confirmation down though, am I going to have any problems with registering at the show??

i have always thought true street was highly under appreciated.

it has the largest class and therefore pays more total in entry fee's, yet regularly gives out the lowest reward.

not to mention the true street guys are the ones that buy the parts (pay full price) and have the subscriptions to all the magazines. falls on deaf ears. i don't get it.

I agree with you MM, I won 11 sec last year and friend won another class and we didn't see our pics, list of winners or anything in all the mags we subscribe to

Make sure and post up some race results guys. My plans to go just fell thru after months of prep to get the new car ready. Ended up with the flu last week and was out of work for a week. Now can't quite swing going financially. Sometimes it sucks working for yourself. Good luck to everyone.

You picked the wrong one. The other cheaper option gives you options for all classes except drag radial

Last min! Decided to head down to the ls fest. I have a 2012 Ford lsx 12 passenger van ( lol, joking). Found a couple rooms nearby but not that many in bowling green. If you want to go to the fest and live in Chicago or nearby suburbs I have extra seats. No charge just share gas expense. If I can't find at least three people will leave the van at home. I will be coming back to Chicago Sunday after event is over. I can leave today or tomorrow depends on how many people interested in leaving today or tomorrow. Thanks"
